Our personal training begins with a fitness consultation, where we will discuss all of your fitness goals. Based on the information provided, we will build a fitness and training plan that provides you with daily training and a complete nutrition plan to help you meet and exceed your fitness goals.

Meet Our Trainers!


Keith Blackwell

Keith is originally from Tyler, a small farm town in Alabama. He moved to the Brookhaven area over 6 years ago. He has been in the health and fitness industry for over 15 years. He received his certification training with The American Council on Exercise. He is passionate about seeing people's lives changed through health, fitness, and nutrition education. He has extensive business and leadership training and skills, with over 20 years of corporate experience. In 2006, after a near death experience caused by receiving a flu shot, he developed a severe case of Guillian Barre Syndrome. It took 15 months to recover from all of the toxins and effects that his body went through. This set him on a path to seek and understand how the body responds to outside stimuli and its effects on the mental, emotional, and physical state of our bodies. Spartan Barbell is a product of all of that research and a dream fulfilled. We are "different by design" is something you will hear him say often. He will be leading the Ignite Core & Cardio and Booty Builder classes. He is also available for personal one on one training. "Stay Focused, Stay Strong, Stay Committed!"-Keith 

Ignite Core and Cardio classes are offered on Tuesdays at 6PM.

Booty Builder classes are offered on Thursdays at 6PM.


Austin Boyte

Austin is from Brookhaven. He has been in the health and fitness industry for over 4 years. He has 4 years of martial arts and Kickboxing training and two years instructing those classes. He received his certification training with The American Council of Exercise. He majored in Human Performance in college. He has been a Spartan Barbell employee for over 3 years and a certified trainer with us for almost two years. He will be leading the Ignite Core and Cardio classes and is also available for personal one on one training. Feel free to contact him at austin.spartanbarbell@gmail.com.

Ignite Core and Cardio classes are offered Mondays at 6PM.



Stephanie Dunaway

Stephanie is from Brookhaven. She has been in the health and fitness industry for over 20 years. She has a passion for all things fitness and nutrition! She received her certification training from The International Sports Sciences Association. She has been a part of several different classes and groups including boot camps, HIIT, and Crossfit. She is also an avid runner completing 3 full marathons, several 25k's, and over 40 half marathons! She has been a Spartan Barbell employee for over 3 years and a certified trainer with us for almost two years! She will be leading the Boot Camp classes and is also available for personal one on one training.

Boot Camp classes are offered Monday-Thursday at 5AM.



Noah Etheridge

Noah is from Brookhaven. She has been a part of the health and fitness industry for almost two years. She is Pilates Certified through The International Sports Sciences Association and has been teaching classes at Spartan Barbell and Fitness for several months. She has a background in competitive, State-ranked Powerlifting, but found her passion in teaching Pilates classes!

She is currently majoring in elementary education and has a strong passion for teaching and connecting with people. She has been a Spartan Barbell employee for almost two years and will be leading our Pilates classes.

Pilates classes are offered currently on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 6PM!
